SONGS ABOUT WOMEN
A great topic to write a song about..Good bad or ugly you can't go wrong...
Like an old saying we all have heard...Women you can't live with them and
you can't live without them...!!!
Definition of a woman: A life support system for a pussy!!!
This is a classic song from Bruce about a woman...
Princess cards she sends me with her regards
Barroom eyes shine vacancy, to see her you gotta look hard
Wounded deep in battle, I stand stuffed like some soldier undaunted
To her Cheshire smile, I'll stand on file, she's all I ever wanted
But you let your blue walls get in the way of these facts
Honey, get your carpetbaggers off my back
You wouldn't even give me time to cover my tracks
You said, "Here's your mirror and your ball and jacks"
But they're not what I came for, and I'm sure you see that too
[CHORUS]
I came for you, for you, I came for you
But you did not need my urgency
I came for you, for you, I came for you
But your life was one long emergency
And your cloud line urges me
And my electric surges free
Crawl into my ambulance, your pulse is getting weak
Reveal yourself all now to me, girl, while you've got the strength to speak
'Cause they're waiting for you at Bellevue with their oxygen masks
But I could give it all to you now, if only you could ask
And don't call for your surgeon, even he says it's too late
It's not your lungs this time, it's your heart that holds your fate
Don't give me my money, honey, I don't want it back
You and your pony face and your Union Jack
Well, take your local joker and teach him how to act

I swear I was never that way, even when I really cracked
Didn't you think I knew that you were born with the power of a locomotive
Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound?
And your Chelsea suicide with no apparent motive
You could laugh and cry in a single sound
And your strength is devastating in the face of all these odds
Remember how I kept you waiting when it was my turn to be the god?
You were not quite half so proud when I found you broken on the beach
Remember how I poured salt on your tongue and hung just out of reach
And the band, they played the homecoming theme as I caressed your cheek
That ragged, jagged melody, she still clings to me like a leech
But that medal you wore on your chest always got in the way
Like a little girl with a trophy so soft to buy her way
We were both hitchhikers but you had your ear tuned to the roar
Of some metal-tempered engine on an alien, distant shore
So you left to find a better reason than the one we were living for
And it's not that nursery mouth that I came back for
It's not the way you're stretched out on the floor
'Cause I've broken all your windows and I've rammed through all your doors
And who am I to ask you to lick my sores?
And you should know that's true

So now i'm praying for the end of time...To hurry up
and arrive...Cause if I have to live another day
with you...i don't think that i can really survive...
i won't forget my promise or forget my vow...but god only knows
what i could do right now..
i'm praying for the end of time..so i can end my time with you...
MEATLOAF MEATHEAD It may be coming true after all this time..
and arrive...Cause if I have to live another day
with you...i don't think that i can really survive...
i won't forget my promise or forget my vow...but god only knows
what i could do right now..
i'm praying for the end of time..so i can end my time with you...

Driving along pumping my ambition
should have seen me bout an hour ago
down and out in Beverly Hills
calling up my lawyer
making out my will
Driving along pumping my ambition
should have seen me two days ago
partying at the Ritz
calling up my ladies
with some big tits
Driving along pumping my ambition
should have seen me bout a week ago
riding in my limo
toking on a number
behind a tinted window....
WHO WROTE THAT??? I DID!!!
Somebody write the next line..
Lets see how far this can go...

Song Lyrics
Well I turned 52yo. yesterday!!! Born at the start of a decade in 1960.. I can remember music from way back, like 1964,65
Blessed with a memory that never forgets [WHO SAID THAT? Pete Townsend} And thats not always a good thing {I SAID THAT}
My mind and spare time, are consumed with thoughts of "THE ECONOMIC COLLAPSE"
I,ve written about 30 songs, poems or whatever you might call them, about the collapse...
And let me say this, since about 1977 I have written a collection of songs{some pretty good} atleast 1000.
I,m constantly having this song by Waylon Jennings pop in my head..If you don't know {well} listen to until you do.
WAYMORE BLUES
Well I woke up this mornin' it was drizzlin' rain
Around the curve come a passanger train
Heard somebody yodel and a hobo moan Jimmy he's dead he's been a long time gone
Been a long time gone a long time gone
If you wanna get to heaven gotta D-I-E you gotta put on your coat and T-I-E
Wanna get the rabbit out of the L-O-G
You gotta make a commotion like D-O-G like D-O-G like D-O-G yeah

Well I got a good woman what's the matter with me
What makes me wanna love every woman I see
I was triflin' when I met her now I'm triflin, again
And every woman I see looks like the place I came in
Looks like the place I came in place I came in
I got my name painted on my shirt I ain't no ordinary dude
I don't have to work I don't have to work

Friday the 13th
Well another MAY 13th. What a day, sometimes it falls on a friday. Like it did
in 1960 the year I was born.. Imagine the talk and thoughts that run around in yours
and other peoples head, knowing you we,re born on the most unluckiest day possible!!!
Life's the same
I'm moving in stereo
Life's the same
except for my shoes
Life's the same
you're shaking like trembolo
Life's the same
it's all inside you
It's so easy
to blow up your problems
It's so easy
to play up your breakdowns
[| From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/c/cars-lyrics/moving-in-stereo-lyrics.html |]
It's so easy
to fly through a window
It's so easy
to move with the sound
(instrumental)
It's so tough
to get up, so tough
It's so tough
to live up
It's so tough on you
The Cars off thier debut album.. Great song to get stoned and listen,,
Kind of how I feel being born on friday the 13th.......

Growin Up
I was raised,I feel by this man!!! His lyrics rang so familiar to my life and thoughts...
Lives on the line where dreams are found and lost...I'll be there on time and I'll pay
the cost , for wanting things that can only be found... in the darkness on the edge of
town... My all time most quoted, and favorite...
I stood stonelike at midnight suspended in my masqueradeI combed my hair till it was just right and commanded the night brigadeI was open to pain and crossed by the rain and I walked on a crooked crutchI strolled all alone through a fallout zone and came outwith my soul untouchedI hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd but when theysaid "Sit down" I stood upOoh-ooh growin' upThe flag of piracy flew from my mast my sails were set wing to wingI had a jukebox graduate for first mate she couldn'tsail but she sure could singI pushed B-52 and bombed 'em with the blues with my gearset stubborn on standingI broke all the rules strafed my old high school never[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/b/bruce-springsteen-lyrics/growin_-up-lyrics.html ]once gave thought to landingI hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd but when theysaid "Come down" I threw upOoh-ooh growin' upI took month-long vacations in the stratosphere andyou know it's really hard to hold your breathI swear I lost everything I ever loved or feared I was the cosmic kidWell my feet they finally took root in the earth butI got me a nice little place in the starsI swear I found the key to the universe in the engine of an old parked carI hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd but when theysaid "Sit down" I stood upOoh-ooh growin' upOoh-ooh growin' up..

real life songs
There’s a Vietnam Vet with a cardboard sign
Sitting there by the left turn line
Flag on his wheelchair flapping in the breeze
One leg missing and both hands free
No one’s paying much mind to him
The V.A. budget’s just stretched so thin
And now there’s more coming back from the Mideast war
We can’t make it here anymore..........
James Mcmurtry : who listens to james??????
